IBFF is organizing the Fifth Edition of the IBFF National Blind Football Tournament from 27th- 30th October 2021 (postponed from 2020) with the Tamil Nadu Blind Football Association (TNBFA) as the local hosting partners at the MontFort Matriculation Higher Secondary School Grounds, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This time, we are expecting 12 Men’s State teams and 4 Women’s State teams to participate with IBSA approved referees and officials conducting the games at Chennai, which be a new venue as we aim to promote the game in new venues across the country.

We will be allowing all participants only who are fully vaccinated (two min doses) and ensure there are daily temperature checks, staggered meal arrangements with the stay arranged close to the venue to ensure all covid protocols are compiled. There will be a referee clinic that is planned for officials/ referees on 26th October at the same venue and a Coaches session on 30th October last day during the day time (before the teams leave). For the first time, we are planning a Women's Blind Football Tournament with 6 teams - with B1, B2, B3 classifications players allowed to play with eye patches/ shades.
