The IBSA Women’s Blind Football World Championship is a prestigious global tournament under the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA), showcasing the best of blind football talent from around the world. This edition marks a historic moment for India as it hosts the championship for the first time, promoting inclusivity and empowerment through sport.
India has emerged as a rising force in blind football and has previously hosted successful international events such as the 2022 IBSA Asia-Oceania Blind Football Championship and the 2023 IBSA Intercontinental Cup. With world-class facilities, committed volunteers, and a growing blind football community, India is proud to welcome the world once again.
The tournament will be broadcast live via official streaming partners, ensuring fans worldwide can experience the thrill and emotion of blind football. Daily highlights, player interviews, and behind-the-scenes content will also be available across IBFF's social media platforms.

Entry to matches is free for all, with special seating arrangements for schools, NGOs, and people with disabilities. Visitors can register in advance for group bookings.
United Sports Centre, Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala, India. The venue also hosted the 2022 IBSA Asia-Oceania Blind Football Championship and the IBSA Intercontinental Cup 2023.
National teams, officials, referees, classifiers, and other invited participants will be staying at Four Points by Sheraton, Kochi Infopark, Phase 1 Campus, Infopark P.O, Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala.
Kochi, known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, blends colonial charm with cultural diversity. Visitors can enjoy Marine Drive, Fort Kochi, the Jewish Synagogue, and Chinese fishing nets. Kerala offers serene backwaters, tea gardens in Munnar, wildlife in Thekkady, and spiritual vibes in Varkala. Traditional dance forms like Kathakali, rich cuisine, and vibrant festivals await travelers.
