Australia Blind Football team to tour India in September

The Australian Blind Football Team will be touring India from 17th to 22nd Sept'18 for a Friendly 2 match series at Kochi, India. The tour will also have training sessions with the players and coaches between the two countries which will help develop the game and skills further. The tour is in preparation for the Asian Blind Football Championships to held in 2019. The tour will give a chance for some of emerging players from both sides to play at an International stage and gain exposure.

The Australian team recently concluded a National Training Camp mid July at Sydney and shortlisted the side who will be taking part in the event with the trainers and coaches. This will be the first overseas tour for the Australian Blind Football team and will also give a chance for the 'Blue Dolphins' Indian side to give an opportunity to some of the young players to showcase their talent.

The dates of the games are 19th & 21st Sept'18 at Kochi, with combined training sessions planned on all the other days of the tour.
